Air Buttons" is an album of improvisations for melodeon (diatonic button accordion) and electronics. These pieces were recorded at home in Hither Green, usually on Friday afternoons when the housework was done and before the kids came back from school. As with my previous album of melodeon improvisations the instrument was recorded in three different ways – using footpedals (wah, distortion and pitch change), pushing it through contraptions made with Audiomulch software on my laptop, or augmenting it with other sounds – in this case, field recordings and a wind-up gramophone

Button Box is a collection of 46 mixes constructed from elements taken from the Linear Obsessional album Air Buttons by Richard Sanderson (LOR046) I was astonished by the reaction- soon sound files were flying at me from all over the world, including from friends of friends of friends, as well as from people who I’ve known since school days- collaborators from my post-punk days, free improvisers, morris dancers, other Linear Obsessional artists, even my next-door neighbour!

Air buttons and bellows for spa control systems and panels. Air buttons provide a burst of air through a small diameter hose which activates the air switch. The air switch then converts the air pulse from the depressed button to an electrical signal. See our selection of air buttons below. We also offer the air switches in either on/off type or sequential type. Air buttons are used to control jetted bathtubs, Jacuzzi tubs and hot tubs. We offer these number 4,10 and 15 air buttons: Lite Touch buttons (require 1 1/4" mounting hole)

Features: These air buttons can be used for any remote control purpose.

Notes

"Button Box" is a collection of 46 mixes constructed from elements taken from the Linear Obsessional album Air Buttons by Richard Sanderson (LOR046)

"After releasing my album of melodeon and electronics improvisations, I decided to ask my friends whether they would be interested in reworking any of the material- 'Please take any music at all from the new release ("Air Buttons" by me) and do what you want with it - mangle it, remix it, add things to it, sing over it, play a duo with it, slow it down, turn it into a tune, cut it up, whatever. BUT please make your contribution EXACTLY TWO MINUTES LONG'.
I was astonished by the reaction- soon sound files were flying at me from all over the world, including from friends of friends of friends, as well as from people who I've known since school days- collaborators from my post-punk days, free improvisers, morris dancers, other Linear Obsessional artists, even my next-door neighbour! The results are amazingly varied in style - and all are fascinating, and of course, none of them outstay their welcome.
So- enormous thanks to all my friends in the UK, France, Spain,Ireland, Sweden, USA and Malaysia, you have made me very proud"
