Stick Men with Ray Guns was an American punk rock group from Dallas, Texas. The group's name comes from a comic that Bobby Soxx (Bobby Glenn Calverley) had created called "Stick Man with Ray Gun". The Stick Man was a crazed, racist character who walked the streets of his neighborhood blasting anyone with his raygun that he thought was defiling his race or just bugged him.

Cottage Cheese From The Lips Of Death. Released in 1983 by Ward-9 Records, this compilation featured bands from the Austin, San Antonio, Houston and Dallas punk & hardcore scenes (with a little metal thrown in the mix). Two versions were released, each with different Butthole Surfers songs. The bands included Really Red, . The Offenders, Mydolls, Not For Sale, Big Boys, Prenatal Lust, Stick Men With Ray Guns, Hugh Beaumont Experience, Marching Plague, Butthole Surfers, Bang Gang, Dicks, & Watch Tower. If you can find a copy, it's well worth the price.

Stick Men with Rayguns. Some People Deserve to Suffer. Stick Men with Rayguns.

Traditionally made from cottage cheese, sugar, butter and vanilla, these bites, (or mini-bars), make a delicious, healthy dessert that is rich in proteins and carbohydrates. They are filling, and the cottage cheese proteins are more easily digested than milk proteins. Chocolate-glazed cottage cheese bites appeared in Russia in the 1950s, but there’s a legend that they were common in Siberia’s Altai region at the end of the 19th century

Some rayguns cause their targets to disappear ("de-materialize", disintegrate, vaporize or evaporate) entirely, personal equipment and all. Visible barrel recoil. Most pistol rayguns have a conventional grip and trigger, but some (. Star Trek: The Next Generation phasers) do not. Sometimes the end of the barrel expands into a shield, as if to protect the user from back-flash from the emitted beam. Prior to the album releases by Dynamo Dresden and Stabilizer, Plastic Raygun had made a name for itself selling thousands of 12" singles across the world, with its artists touring on five continents.

My issue has " The Shah Sleeps" as the Surfer song. Pic is in center. Which issue?

I already don't remember all the sources, but as I said in my comment 2 and a half years ago, the centered version is supposedly first pressing (I know on RYM the picture got changed by someone proving this with sources, but as I say, I don't remember which). I have that sleeve, and I did buy the record just after its release. As far as I'm concerned the Butthole Surfers track is 'The Shah Sleeps...' on all the issues, and listing it as 'I hate my job' here is an error. Or maybe that's the track on the CD, but mine certainly also has 'The Shah Sleeps...' and not 'I hate my job' (a song I don't remember, despite being a big Butthole Surfers fan and seeing them a few times, getting to hang out with them a bit even), though, maybe I'm wrong, and maybe that track was also changed for the second pressing. But the first pressing has the picture in the center, with 'The Shah Sleeps...' as the BHS track (the first time I heard them, making me seek out their records and start seeing them live when they first came to the UK in early 85), the second has the picture pushed to the right. Here's one source at least where you see the original cover, from the page of Tim Kerr, from the Big Boys, who are on this release: http://www.timkerr.net/discography_bigboys.html#105 So, yours is the first pressing.

Funky
The first pressing has the picture on the cover placed in the center of the sleeve, not pushed to the right, like on the second pressing.

Eigonn
First press with black labels has a different Butthole Surfers song on it: "100 Million People Dead"

Here's the deal...fer real!:The first press does indeed have 'Shah'...same version as on 'Brown Reason', although it sounds unmastered, as it has some sound issues on prevalent on the EP version...The second press does indeed have "I Hate My Job", and also has the picture moved from the center of the record sleeve to the right hand side, for some reason..."100 Million People Dead" is on the P.E.A.C.E. Compilation, and not on any versions of this compilation...hope this helps...
