Afrodisiac is the fourth studio album by American singer Brandy, released on June 28, 2004 by Atlantic Records. The album was recorded primarily in Los Angeles between spring 2003 and early 2004, following several major changes in Brandy's personal and professional life. After giving birth to her daughter and the demise of her relationship with the father, Brandy's team was given an overhaul, including changes in production, management, and A&R.

Afrodisax – Ostinati & Other Music For Imaginary Movies. The Afrodisax octet is straight-ahead music with one foot in the jazz of the past and one of the present. Music layered in with thick brushstrokes, melodies capable of taking flight, and a nice mix of tempos. Group play and solos equally solid. Song Ostinato II is enchanting

The four (lengthy, as usual) songs occupying this album were originally recorded in Nigeria as 45 rpm releases. Afrodisiac consists of re-recordings of these, done in London in the early '70s. While it's true that Fela Kuti's albums from this period are pretty similar to each other, in their favor they're not boring. These four workouts, all sung in Nigerian, are propulsive mixtures of funk and African music, avoiding the homogeneity of a lot of funk and African records of later vintage, done with nonstop high energy.

As a solo piano project, Marc recorded the album Piano Music in 2015. Marc is also a composer. His work covers jazz tunes as well as compositions for large jazz ensembles, especially his own 8-piece band "Afrodisax". As a classical trained musician, he also writes Lieder, choir works and organ music. Marc won in 2012 the "National Big Band Composing Competition" in Luxembourg with honorary mention.
