Worth it for David Porter's "The Masquerade is Over" by itself. Everything else is just a bonus, includingthe full-length Isaac Hayes cuts. Nicely done, thought it's too bad that there won't be a part 2 or 3. Still, with Hip-O Records 'Shaolin Soul' series still in circulation, I'd say fans of vintage soul remain in good shape, insofar as market representation goes.

Rza has better stuff to do then worry about a pressing that MAYBE raised $30k in revenue. Be happy that he put it out for his fans. Now look...people will gladly give $50 for your copy.

So the "Volume 1" title on this is still teasing me. Is there any word on another installation on vinyl? I would love for him to continue this series.

Finally got my copy on 09-Jan-2014 having ordered it from Soul Temple's Bandcamp on 22-Mar-2013. Didn't think I'd ever see it and definitely won't be ordering from that label ever again.

Same thing for me, ordered & shipped in May, received in January ! In great conditions !

Jare
Luckily I got my money back because I paid for it with Paypal.

Great album but don't buy it from the Soul Temple website. I'm still waiting for delivery 45 days after ordering it and they're not answering my emails. Terrible customer service.
