Choir of King's College, Cambridge. The King's College Choir is a British choir. It is considered one of today's most accomplished and renowned representatives of the great English choral tradition. It was created by King Henry VI, who founded King's College, Cambridge, in 1441, to provide daily singing in his Chapel, which remains the main task of the choir to this day.

The Choir has gone on from these beginnings to have gained an international reputation which has essentially been gained because of their annual performances of The Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols which is broadcast both on the Radio and on Television.
