I received a These Are Powers EP care of Elsie & Jack Records. It had but a scant three trackmarks on its spherical surface, but it was enough to send my reserve into a tailspin, especially when I found out one of the infamous ion-members, Pat Noecker, was involved. the one thing that can make my eyes blow up and my heart melt: a killer, killer album that didn’t come from the ‘60s or ‘70s (or even ‘80s).

These Are Powers, Category: Artist, Albums: All Aboard Future, Terrific Seasons, Singles: Candyman EP, Taro Tarot, Biography: Consisting of energetic Anna Barie (Knife Skills, Fxxxing Lion), bassist Pat Noecker (n0 things, Liars), and drummer Bill Salas (Brenmar), Brooklyn noise dance trio These Are Powers blend eerie and ramshackle sounds into a post-no wave genre that they have deemed "ghost punk. After touring the . extensively in 2007, the trio scored a deal with Hoss Records and moved out to Chicago to record its full-length debut, Terrific Seasons.

The Powers That B is the fourth studio album, and first double album, by experimental hip hop group Death Grips. The album's first disc, Niggas on the Moon, was released as a free digital download on June 8, 2014. The first disc's instrumentation was performed entirely on a Roland V-Drum kit by drummer Zach Hill and features chopped vocal samples of Icelandic singer-songwriter Björk on every track. The second half, Jenny Death, leaked online on March 19, 2015.

Everyone knows that these are winter, spring, summer and autumn. Most of us will say that their most favourite seasons are spring and summer, and the least favouirite ones are autumn and winter. Indeed, few people like when it is wet, rainy and chilly. Usually they prefer sunny and warm weather.

Odes to spring are regularly composed by enamoured worshippers of one of the most outstanding seasons of the year. Tender and energetic, delicate and vivid, spring is the living picture of the beginning of life. The poetry of nature has the irresistible influence on the mood even of the extremely pessimistic or pragmatic personality. Summer is the most loved and hottest season. It is the perfect time for vacations, swimming, and sunbathing.

A season is a part of a year. Most areas of the Earth have four seasons in a year: spring, summer, autumn (British English) or fall (US English), and winter. In some areas there are a different number of seasons. For example, in the tropical parts of Australia (in the northern parts of Queensland, Western Australia and the Northern Territory), wet and dry seasons are also observed. These are in addition to, or replace the regular season names.

As far as tone is concerned, These Are Powers have that down above anything else. Teeth-grittingly tense and with chilling atmosphere, they play the appropriate soundtrack for a bombed-out, water-damaged Brooklyn basement with one bulb for light. If the Yeah Yeah Yeahs had pursued the more confrontational branches of New York no-wave, they would probably sound like this. It seems like the kind of experiment in tension that These Are Powers might have grown out of, given the progress from release to release and their promising Taro Tarot EP from 2008. Adam's Turtle" and "Glass Blocks" are more spooky, if familiar, skronk with unusual percussion, from steel drums to handclaps to water drops. But the parts seem more incongruous here, the slow, menacing beats of both being the only constant.
